Christianbook · Principal UX Designer · 2025 – Present
Within my first 90 days at Christianbook, I identified a strategic product opportunity outside the existing roadmap, built the case for it, and led the cross-functional execution that turned it into seven figures of incremental revenue.
Unlock revenue growth through UX-led product strategy — starting with understanding the business, not the backlog.
$1M+ in incremental revenue within eight months of joining.
Measurable revenue attribution, executive adoption of the initiative into the roadmap, and a stronger acquisition-readiness story for the organization.
I spent my first 30 days studying how Christianbook actually makes money — the customer segments, the catalog economics, the journeys where intent leaked out of the funnel. That's where I found the gap: an underserved, high-intent audience whose end-to-end experience didn't yet exist.
I brought the opportunity to leadership with a case built on customer evidence and revenue modeling, then aligned product, marketing, and engineering around a phased delivery — including a new end-to-end homeschool experience with AI-powered integrations. I stayed hands-on through discovery, definition, and delivery while managing executive expectations along the way.
This is the work I believe design leadership is for: not waiting for a ticket, but identifying what moves the business and carrying it from insight through shipped experience to measured outcome.
Ask me about how I earned executive buy-in for an initiative nobody asked for — and how I'd find the equivalent opportunity in your business.
