Designing learning that adapts to every student — at enterprise scale.

I led discovery, definition, and delivery for a complex personalization platform — adaptive literacy experiences at enterprise scale — coordinating engineering, technical product managers, design systems, and visual designers from first concept to launch. The discipline transfers anywhere systems must adapt to individual users: commerce, health, fintech, or learning.

Objective

Create digital literacy experiences that adapt to individual student needs, from first concept through shipped product.

Outcome

Launched a new adaptive learning platform on timeline, with design leading definition rather than following it.

Success looked like

Engineering-ready technical designs adopted directly into grooming, seamless integration of third-party API solutions, and a shipped experience serving real classrooms.

Owning all three D's

Most designers get handed the Definition phase. I owned Discovery, Definition, and Delivery — from the earliest questions about how students actually build literacy, through use cases, workshops, user journeys, and heuristic evaluations, to technical designs engineers could groom directly and product stories with managed technical scope.

Service design at learning scale

I developed service blueprints mapping professional learning experiences end to end — the connective tissue between students, teachers, and the platform. And because the product integrated out-of-the-box API solutions, I worked directly with third-party corporations and technical teams to make external capability feel native to the learner.

The founder's parallel

Adaptive learning is also the heart of Study Aloud, the learning company I founded and lead. Few designers bring both the enterprise edtech playbook and the founder's end-to-end understanding of what it takes to make adaptive learning actually work.

Ask me about integrating third-party API solutions without compromising the learner experience.
